The large numeral '100' on the centre of the denomination panel and promise text either side of it in English and Hindi. 'I/PROMISE/TO PAY THE/BEARER/THE SUM OF/ONE HUNDRED/RUPEES' in 7 lines. Signed by the 'GOVERNOR' in English and Hindi below promise text. 'ONE HUNDRED RUPEES' text in vertical band next to the watermark panel. 'एक सौ रुपये' in Hindi text below Ashoka pillar.
